Many thanx for this thread! It DID enable me to do a "hard" reset, which worked, BUT I cannot set my location to where I live, Australia, as there is no option in the weather menu for it. Additionally, there is STILL no option in Settings to allow for a reset within the Android OS, as there is still no Privacy tab in this version.
Iwould prefer to upgrade to a later version, perhaps v.2.3, which may give me the options I am currently missing.
Can anyone tell me EXACTLY how to do this, step-by-step?
