Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help with a question about Huawei 3G Dongles?
I have just bought a Jextab Flytouch 3 Superpad 2 10-Inch Android 2.2 8GB Tablet PC, which will accept a 3G Dongle.
I see these are available as 'unlocked' on eBay, namely: "Huawei K3520, with maximum downloading speed of up to 7.2 MBps"
(HSDPA/UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz) GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900MHz)
 Support 7.2 Mbps HSDPA services
 Micro SD Card Slot
 Support PC voice and SMS services
 Support data statistics
 Receive diversity (850/1900/2100MHz)
 Plug & Play
I intend to use my (internet enabled) sim card from my mobile phone in the dongle if I need to access the internet without WiFi available.
The touchpad is enabled for the following: "Supports External 3G Dongle (WCDMA/TD-SCDMA/EVDO/CDMA2000)"
Would anyone please be able to tell me if the Huawei dongle will work with my Touchpad / mobile phone sim?
Any other information, or suggestions, would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Alec

The norm is that these dongles should be compatible with the stated networks/frequencies in their specifications and should function without issues with the tablets that support the 3G external dongles.

However, a number of dongles may not be compatible with certain tablets therefore there is no certain answer unless it is actually tried and tested.
