hello
i have found this post about the dump for new update
maybe can get the software for our s7
ok guys. here is my progress

adb remount > failed : operation not permitted
adb shell > $ (it seems i don't have adb root)

however, i can put busybox and dump_image to /system/bin using root explorer.
and i can use terminal emulator from my s7 to dump boot and system.

somehow my upload to multiupload always interrupted and failed.

i've uploaded to mediafire.

here is the link : froyo_dump.zip

Build date was March 24th. That would be pretty new, I would say...

have run the zip into my s7
no Sim card
no bloutooth
no market
zroot works and my device rooted
Applanet work

Z4root work
and i have got in menu superuser and i was install rom manager also
flashplayer works great

wifi work?

Yes. I've experienced no drops myself. There are many things that do not work, like google sync or market. Kinda breaks it if you don't know where else to get apps from. I reset mine to 2.1 till a more functional version comes. I also hope the guys working with CM7 get that going! Hopefully they can use parts of this new update to further move their developments.

I have the S7-104, everything is working great. No drops, market, maps ( my maps were crashing on 2.1 If the satellite layer was enabled ) and the crashes & slow response i was experiencing with the swedish & original BB rom have all been fixed.

Sent from my IDEOS S7-104 using Android Tablet Forum
