Kindle

I have one of the generic 1.6 epads. I have kindle running and it has downloaded 2 books. Now, when I download a book from amazon it looks like it downloads but then when the kindle goes to sync it fails.

What am I doing wrong?

Sorry I am not sure how to answer that question. Other than reinstalling the app itself, and ensuring that the sd card is detected, I am not sure what else can be done.

First, try deregistering then re-registering the device to see if that works.

Second, make sure you have a network connection

Third, check the Archive (Menu->Archive) to make sure that it didn't load the new books there

I found out the dates were off. Reinstalled Kindle and reset the dates. And it all worked. Somehow it reset it self and now it works great.
