Underclocking increases battery life, i would buy a long life battery but, good luck.

rooted superoneclick
indonesian 2. 2
apps2sd
set cpu (mine set min:240mhz - max:360mhz)

no noticable difference in performance really for most apps, and with set cpu u can allways ramp up when you need to.

Hope this helps.

Exactly how many hour(s) or percent of longer life are we talking about ?
My standard usage (browsing, installing, wifi, no gps around 3 hours) has 5-7 hours lifetime
What about apps such as MaxVolt or other battery saving apps ?

Regards.

I win +1 hour with no-frills cpu non rooted tablet!!!

lol how long is a piece of string?

depends on a lot of factors but will add an hour or so.

again depends what hardware activated. eg..wifi bluetooth etc
screen brightness.

also programs running in bacground. especially updating themselves etc

I use Battery Saver ( level 3) and CPU Master ( set 245 Mhz) to underclocked the CPU when the tablet is idle (not used). I also set the brightness to around 10-15 % ( below that is too dimm)

I managed to keep it alive from 7 AM - 16 PM ( ~ 9 hours) for +- 3 x 2 minutes phone calls, +- 5 x SMS with Original battery,

I put CPU Master Widget in Desktop and set the CPU clock to usable 500 Mhz Max when required to do something.

I also put the onboard device widget to desktop, switch off Wifi, GPS, Background Data, Screen.

I keep Bluetooth On since I use Bluetooth handsfree to recieve/make calls.
