Lost the Touch feature

Lenovo A2109a tablet
A few days ago, my tablet lost the Touch feature.
I have to connect a mouse and a keyboard to run the tablet.
Everything else appear to run ok.
Need help to restore.
I did try to press the Power button until I felt the vibration and the android icon appeared.
But not sure how to proceed after that.

If this happened suddenly, it's likely the digitizer itself failed, meaning a hardware issue. You can try accessing the recovery and performing a factory reset, but I don't believe it will help.

I did try the Reset from Settings. No help.
So, I am screwed royally.
Anyone wants an "untouchable" Lenovo ?
