Media Access from a Vista Home Premium 64 Bit PC?

Hi... new to the forums, but expect to be here a while. I have an ASUS Transformer (just got it) and I want to set it up to be able to access my median files from my Laptop Drives (External WD Mybook) as well as the main C drive. Is there a spoecial app I need, or can it be done just by mapping a drive?. I looked all over in the Transformer and I don't see any way to map a drive or see my shared drives on the network for that matter.

Dan - do a search on the forum here for how to connect to drives. there are several excellent threads on this topic, including references for different apps and approaches from mapping drives to connecting via media servers.

I expect that the external drive will be NTFS formatted so you would have to root it first then install one of the NTFS syncing tools.
