Hello,

I bought this cable to connect the S7 to USB devices but is not working.

Anyone can give me more tips how can I do it and if it is possible to do it?
(the seller told me that was possible).

Thanks in advance
pedro

Hello again,

I would like to have your help again please. I´ve readed several information in this forum and I think I´m doing right.

So, what´s happening is that I can´t create "directories" in my root.

so far I´ve done:

- Rooted with Gingerbreak
- Installed Q5 USB Memory
- Confirmed that the device is rooted with the root check aplication and the result tell´s me that I have root access.

The problem: I cant make directories in root in Explorer (in this case Astroapp). I need to do it to make a folder to the usb device but is not working.

Any suggestion please?

Thanks in advance
pedro

i suggest you to use "root explorer" or "es file explorer" to create folders
in Q5 USB Memory program you can use the folder named "d" that is already created

Just perfect Magno, it works.

I´m using the "d" directory as you suggested and finnaly I got the usb devices working.

But now remain´s a question: why can´t I make directories? Even with Es FileExplorer?

Is it in fact rooted? (the root check say´s it is!)

Thanks again and best regards
pedro

I can confirm that OTG adapters form DealExtreme are working. I succesfully mounted usb stick using Q5 and ES file menager. Usb keyboard is also working and cordless keyboard and mouse as well. Only thing i need is mouse pointer.

Vexx, that's very interesting for me, especially about this USB keyboard. I bought an USB keyboard to use this with my Ideos S7 Slim, but it obviously doesn't work with the tablet. Do you maybe know how to make an USB keyboard work with an Ideos S7?

Could you tell me, how to do it or maybe give me a link to a proper instruction? I will be very grateful. And I'd like to add that I'm not an electronic specialist so I need rather simple instruction.

One more time, I would be grateful for any help.

Thanks in advance.
