Hard drive will be Seagate's 7mm Momentus Thin, so it'll fit all 250 GB in a slim package.

The one thing I'm worried about is RAM. The Gen8 tablets only had 256 Megs of RAM. It made for a slightly sluggish UI experience, although the graphics support was second to none in a device that cheap with that low of RAM, I personally had NO problem playing Wave Blazer or Turbofly 3D on my own Archos 70 IT w/250 GB HDD (Gen8).

I couldn't see a User-Generated News forum here so I posted this here. Maybe it'll get moved to the main News forum, this is huge. $279 for a damn decent Honeycomb tablet?

Whoops, missed the forum by one, maybe an admin can move it to the Tablet News section. Sorry!

Video playback is one of the strong points of the Archos,The Gen8 so far has been a great media player,There's a video up on YouTube showing the gen9 playing a movie
