Nook for android App

My husband recently purchased one of these: CompUSA.com | VPAD7 | ViewSonic ViewPad 7” Wifi/3G Android 2.2 Tablet

He installed the Nook for android app through the market. It stops and stalls and freezes the tablet whenever he tries to open the app. Even worse when he gets close to opening a book. I posted this question on the Nook boards, and they referred me to you.

Is there anything we can do make make this run better?

Is he running it the way it was sold or if it rooted? If rooted what I'd be running? I'm running cyanogenmod

He is running it the way it was sold. It has not been rooted. Will rooting it help that?

I am running tnt Harmony and it tells me when I tried to download the app that it is not supported. Is cyanogenmod working with the nook app? I saw they had released an update to had android tablets. I would like the option to use it if I can get it to work.

Maybe it is not supported with your android version you try to use tnt Harmony.
