Parental Controls?

We're totally new to the tablet arena. We're looking at getting a tablet for a teenager. We're looking hard at the Dell Streak, but are open to other tablets, too. The biggest thing we're trying to figure out is what apps exist that will run on a Dell Streak that will give us parental controls, like monitoring or controlling Web activity, monitoring text messages, etc., and be done in a stealth mode. The tablet will only be run on our closed Wi-Fi home connection, not any type of 3G/4G type of service provider, so it won't have a SIM card in it.

Any guidance on this issue would be highly appreciated.

For Parental Control, you can use Kids Place - Parental Control app from Google Play store. Its the best and free:

For monitoring browser activity - just install K9 Browser and add it to Kids Place.
Both of this will work on any android tablet so just buy the one that fits your needs.

These are the features remote monitoring software have, it is a good solution dealing with children's online problems.
