Hi,

I'm trying to playing mkv video on my IMX515 (Android 2.2 , two speakers)...

Video is truly smooth but no audio at all with Meridian or RockPlayer.
Audio is present only on yxplayer or mPlayer but very far from being fluid.

Isn't AC3 codec builted in? Are there any chances to add it?

thx

I've solved the problem by myself...

with Linux I simply re-encoding only the audio track of mkv , converting it to mp3 :)

Do you know if you can connect android tablet (I"ve got the Acer Iconia A500) to a VGA projector for audio/video streaming e.g. educational websites (I'm a teacher)...thanks!

The solutions is a kludge and easier to pursue a direct solution.
Kludge Solution: Use a tablet with HDMI output. Attach the HDMI to a powered HDMI to VGA converter and the VGA cable to the VGA projector https://www.google.com/#ds=pr&pq=hd....,cf.osb&fp=47145d74750179a5&biw=1484&bih=668
Direct solution 1: Consider a Pico or video Projector with HDMI input https://www.google.com/#q=hdmi+pico....,cf.osb&fp=47145d74750179a5&biw=1484&bih=668
Direct solution 2: Use a Video display with HDMI input

I know teaching and education budgets are very limited. The Kludge solution will cost about $100+. The direct solution will cost $140+. Remember you want HDMI to VGA and NOT VGA to HDMI
