I need someone to tell me how to update firmware and how to root this:

Its a generic flytouch...via based, right? (Led is yellow green)
I want to buy the case and keyboard, what kind of usb do i need..mini or 2.0? This thing came without the little usb thing.

After i root will it let me download things from the regular google market? Getjar? I tried to download a word application but said it didnt have a program to open it in.

Please help me

Search Tipstirs posts and his will be of most help. You are right This is an Android Donut -1.6 with the Build of 2.0.1_105. It can be rooted and it can do more. But the build is rather recent. You will be best served by just searching and reading.
