Problems Resizing Pictures For Album

I used Photoshop to edit a few photos so that they would meet the criteria for being under 19.5 k, w620 H280
Went into Windows explorer to ensure they were under 19.5k

When attempting to upload, the uploader showed they were all 75k or bigger

What the heck?

To put up an avatar, click Settings on the right side of the top line of any forum page. Then go to My Settings, My Profile and click Edit Avatar.

The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 39.1 KB (whichever is smaller).
