pushing root files... stalled

I am on the step where I am rooting my device, and the root utility says pushing root files. It has been at this stage for an hour. Is that normal, or did something go wrong?

Should only take a few seconds, I am not a windows guy but if it's taking a long time, that would mean your drivers aren't installed correctly.

Thanks... I counld never get it to work, so I returned the tablet, and am going to get one that comes with the play store.
