[RECOVERY] Working recovery with UI glitches

oh sorry to ear that lack of time of yours for this.
i found that recovery.fstab and then then the /etc/fstab still have the older mapping on the test recovery.img you posted
so we cant mount /system.
looking for a way to complie it myself with those files changed

i manage to compile the 3.0.2.4 version of the recovery with your info and with the new kernel
it doesnt work with adb yet but can be used to do a backup and a restore.

keep in mind backup and mount works but adb still does not ....
i have missed something but we can still make froyo backups now

foud a glish now
when doing a backup put a sdcard in select backup and WAIT... it will get back to the menu when its over
get the sdcard card out and save the backupdir

I belive that you mounted the sdcard2 as sdcard and viceversa.

stil can't get adb to work or that backup shows what he is doing

as i was looking for the failed adb i found that prelink map is different from the eclair 2.1 version
so i have to get that donne and move on...well ..hope xaueious or someone helps on this cos i m running out of stamina lol
