So is the Light Elf 2.5 rom suitable to be installed on the Crystal tablet? Will there be a dedicated rom for the Crystal eventually?

Light Elf II won't come for Crystal. We have to wait for Light Elf III. It's the best, when you follow the thread in the Elf II section.
