In fact, i am a Chinese user too, if KK mod rom get support simple Chinese, it will be more convenient. But we respect your choice, i'm appreciate that you do the mod for us.

Beta 7 will support simplied chinese.

- Parting working HDMI(can output to TV but video/sound has not been ported as yet)
- fixed external SD unable to detect when insert before booting or rebooting
- support S2E and bundled with rom
- Chinese translation for KK Quick Control(other language translation are welcome)
- allow swapping of internal and external SD in cyanogenmod settings.

you need to check and make sure that there is no application regularly accessing the cpu.

anyway, there is no different btw the kernel for cm7 and the telcast rom. you can confirm by doing a wipe data and see if the issue is still there.
