Rooting Android 2.2 model FR-809

Hello all

Can someone please point me to the right direction for how to root my device?

I've just got it mailed in 2 hrs ago and I am now ready get root. I am a long time Fedora user (CLI(bash only) & general UI) and I am familiar w/ a little bit of Java/C/C++ (coming from a python 3 background)...

My device's specs are as follows...

Board: imix5_bbg (freescale)
Host: taojixiong-desktop
Processor: ARMv7 rev 5 (v71) at 1GHz
RAM: 512 MB DDR II

Kernel : 2.6.31-01012-g4f92f83-dirty(root@taojixiong-desktop)
gcc: 4.12 #40 PREEMPT

Any ideas as to how I should approach this?

it's a good 'n responsive tablet, it just needs to be rooted

Install z4root, you should be able to find it on the market but if not install Applanet and search for z4root on there. Install, choose root permanently, than after it reboots it should be rooted! This worked for my tablet, same model as yours.

with 2 screws, 2 speaker, 3g, gps, pinch zoom, came with white box

i cant find on the web how to root this tablet, think about that z4root, but then i read some user had problems with wifi n other, make me think it over again, damn
