Rooting Coby Kyros 1042 Drivers Problems

Hello everyone, I have a Coby Kyris MID1042 and I'm trying to root but I have Windows 8.1 and when I do the steps to install the drivers for Windows 7 the "root_restore.bat" does not recognizes my tablet, pc yes but with a Error Code 10 in drivers manager .... Can anyone with a 1042 coby tablet help me ?

These drivers are the same for Gen 3 allwinner tabs (7042, 8042, 9742, 1042, etc) Have not yet tried to install in 8.1- but it does work in windows 8.0- both 32 and 64 bit.

Check device manager, and update the driver. Choose the acatel driver.

Sorry it's in portuguese but you can understand I think...

I can install the driver and the PC recognizes my tablet but it says "This device cannot be started. (Code 10)"

Turn off developer options and check results. Do not enable storage. If results are clean, enable developer options.

Choose one of the phone devices. right click to update.
