Is there a way I can change the screen orientation after unchecking the switch automatically option,I need to stay in portrait but it defaults to landscape when the box is unchecked,I have also tried adw orientation settings to no avail.

My second question is,if I go to settings and check my sd and device storage it says i have 4.89GB free on my 8GB sd card, the Nand says I have 2.65GB left, but I get an error when installing an app saying "low on space,Device storage space is getting low",and the app dosnt install it just hangs.

The userdata (/data) partition is not very big. The internal storage is /nand, which is a different 'device' to the system. I actually posted something about this a while back. Just search the forums for 'userdata'.

So can apps and what not be copied to sd or nand?Or do only some support that?

If you're willing to hack the device a bit and modify existing instructions, you could attempt apps2sd or link2sd. Nobody has reported success or failure with it on this device. Check the huawei section here for instructions.
