Skype?

Has anybody got skype to work? It just keeps going to the home screen on mine.

I can log in and send messages via chat, but when I try to call I get the "call failed" error message. I did some searching and I think I need to update the firmware, is there another way?

I can confirm that both calls and messaging work using the Watery rom from L_N in the main discussion forum, check out the sticky

Just made a call on Skype today....Only thing I would like is an address book or contact list. It appears that Android 2.1 dosen't come with one because it is technically not a phone. BTW, according to Skype, the phone call I made to my wife's cell phone was supposed to cost money, but I have given them no credit card info or other means to pay? Anyone else notice this?
