Hi all,
I was wondering what does the super user app does, it kept asking for access,
I saw this app after rooting my generic MID device with flytouch 1.9_88 4
I also saw that the rooted Nook Color from Barnes and Noble, had it as well.

What about the swapper switch, I read mixed opnions on the forums.

Another question:
how would I know which programs are running in the background, I am confused because when i press the home icon I get a list of "recent" application, what about the applicatons that are running now?

thanks again

Super user is what lets you have full access to your phone and use a task manager app to see what apps are running

yes or else the app wont be able to function right. like titanium backup asks for root rights so it can let you erase unwanted preloaded apps. wireless tether asks for root rights so it can turn your phone into an adhoc network and so on

How are you my friend, Probie - I am back to bug you more! As you know I have Wits A81E recd. in mid-Aug - FW 1122, ROOTED using Z4Root. However I am unable to DELETE / UNINSTALL unwanted pre-installed apps like "phone", "talk" etc. WHY - I thought being Rooted I can do it as a SU ! How can I get rid of these Apps - remember I am a DUNCE as far as coding/techie demand. PLEASE advice. Thanks.
Vijay
