Hi Everyone,

As we've discovered there are a number of different models of s7 tablet with slightly differing specifications.

Now each of the tablets has a model number which can be seen behind the battery.

For example, My tablet is one that's resold via Telstra in Australia and has the model number of:

S7-104
No internal SD card
front and rear facing camera
can't seem to overclock using the rom for the .sg market.

I'd be interested to see what other model numbers and some basic hardware specs they have.

Take care and have fun,

Ivy

Mine too is s7-104 but it is from best buy in the US. 2 cameras, 8g internal, overclocks to 998 on Singapore rom, resistive screen.

Interesting, I wonder if there are more too these differences than just the obvious, like cameras and cards.

From Android System Info app

And through menu test
S/H Version info shows
Hardware version number: V0005
And S7 104 und the battery.

I think the hardware version number is the factory configuration number.
And the number under the battery is the reseller configuration number which its likely to take into account the firmware version installed and the target market/telecoms provider spec stipulation.

I haven't searched around on the topic but maybe Ivy knows. Since the internal card is called an "SDCARD" would it be possible to replace the internal card to a 32 gig SD card? Have you ever seen one of these stripped down? I'm too afraid to do it myself.

Hi Ben,

I've wondered the same, I've not done a teardown, nor have I seen complete pics of a teardown of the model with the internal card. There's a few pics on a russian android site but they don't really show enough.
