Thrive Tablet will not sync calendar

I have a Toshiba Thrive Tablet. It used to sync with my Android Phone when I updated my calendar on the phone. I am using the "Business Calendar" app. The Tablet says I have no calendars to sync with. I sense that it is blocking itself someway. I can go to Google Calendars and see my schedule of events and create an event. My Android phone will see the created event but the Thrive will not. I keep getting a "Sync Error" though "Accounts and Sync" and the response is "Sync is temporarily unavailable". Where do I need to start to get the Business Calendar on my Thrive Tablet to sync again?
