Using Tablet to Capture *PC* Video Output Possible?

Greetings!

I have a question concerning the availability of an app that uses a tablet to capture the video displayed on my pc.

So that I may use my otherwise idle tablet to disburden my pc's cpu from this task.

I am using a Asus 840 fhd and I understand that it has a 1,88 ghz Quadcore - so plenty of power, no?
It also features usb aswell as hdmi.


I already took a look into google but I only got hits for capturing my tablet's video.

So either there is no such thing or it is quite well hidden.

has me confused. If you want a way to display your PC on the tablet there is no input on Android tablets for the PC. There are, however, a few apps that will allow you to take control of the PC and that will display on the tablet. Splashtop is the most popular.

Allright so let me be clear: I want to capture my pc's video.

I was wondering if I can do that by using a tablet.

The answer is no. There is no input capability, only output.
