Where can the Coby Kyros (Gen 1) be Purchased? Price trends?

I am looking for a store that may sell the Coby Kyros MID7015? I know I can buy it from Target online, but I will only do that as a last resort... I'm a little picky about buying online (it is Target however, so it should be fine, but I still wanna see if I can physically pick it up at a store first). So do you know of any stores that actually sell this tablet? :D

got mine at BrandsmartUSA last week for $158

Well the closest "Brandsmart USA" is in Miami (which is pretty far from my home in Orlando, FL), but I'll be going to K-Mart tomorrow and I'll check there since I'll be there anyway... I'll be incredibly happy if they have them there. Thank you. :D

I'm welcoming more answers if there are any. :)

I have both an HHGreg and a K-Mart within a mile away, so I know where I'll be walking tomorrow... xD LOL

Thanks. :)

Personally, I'm holding off for the 8025 or 1025/1026 but probably the 8 inch...since the 10" will have the same CPU and I'm looking to free myself from my 15" notebook anyway. The difference in the XX25 and XX26 models is 16X9 or 3X4 screen format which also places the camera a little differently.

I had and returned the 7015 and even though I was pleased to get google market, root access, overclocking and ad-hoc wifi working on it, it still was too underpowered for my needs. I am hoping the new Cortex A8 1Ghz models will be as responsive as my 1Ghz DroidX. I'd love to see some comparing benchmarks and some fixed release dates!

Also the main reason for the 7015 retrun was the lack of Android 2.2 with full flash support. The new models should be loaded with 2.3 which is the best sub-$200 offering I've seen so far.

Some more info that might help shape a purchasing decision:

All models support USB 2.0, have an HDMI out and support mini TF cards. The new models also add camera capabilities, a more intuitive fixed and illuminated back/search/home buttons as well as physical volume buttons (where the older 7005/7015 was controlled via s/w).

Current offerings as of this posting - 7005 vs 7015 - different processors and batteries

7005:

***Slightly heavier than 7015 but also more slim

7015:

***Telechips TTC8902 800Mhz
***3200mA Rechargeable Li-poly battery (400 less than 7005)
***Website states only expandable to 16Gb (16Gb less than 7005)
***Slightly lighter and larger dimensions

All share same CPU Samsung S5PV210 (Cortex A8) 1GHz

7025:

Android 2.3 (Supports Flash 10.1 and then some)
***800 x 480 (WVGA)
***Widescreen 16:9

1025:
***Display 10" Capacitive (should support multi-touch)

***1024 x 600 (WSVGA)
***Widescreen 16:9
***Rechargeable Li-Poly (3.7V, 4800mAh) - same as 1026 but more than 7" and 8"

1026:
***Display 10" Capacitive (should support multi-touch)
Android 2.3 (Supports Flash 10.1 and then some)
***1024 x 768 (SVGA)
***Standard (4:3)
***Rechargeable Li-Poly (3.7V, 4800mAh) - same as 1025 but more than 7" and 8"

I'm personally leaning towards the 7026 or 8025, both 4:3 tablets but that's mainly because I don't prefer such a large screen. Then again, it would all depend on the whether I get a hands on side-X-side to compare the capacitive screen to the other units. If the experience is much richer then I might opt for the larger display which will probably have a $50-$75 higher price tag. ;)

When are the new models due out?

From what I have gathered around the web but nothing offical from Coby...maybe follow their twitter feed or what I did was request to be notified when the unit is in stock from this seller which seemed to have the best price I could find.

COBY Electronics MID8025-4G - 8" MID w/Android OS 4GB

Got mine from Kmart. $139.99. Got a second also at Kmart, $169.99. If there are retailers locally that carry the tablet, it would be beneficial to price match. Kmart will, Walmart, Sears, Bestbuy. They all price match. Some do plus 10% of the difference.
