Apps stop in sleep mode

My tablet stops playing music and apps when it goes into sleep mode. This happened when I updated to 3.1. I know this has been discussed elsewhere - has a fix been found? Already reset and reloaded - did not help. Thanks!

Other than Google Music or Amazon Music, what other apps stop in sleep mode?

And what setting do you have in your Wifi Disconnect policy?

Bike is on it............WiFi set to never sleep fixed mine.
