Picture But No Sound

Hi
This is my first post so I hope that I'm in the right forum. I have a Nextbook Premium 8 SE Dual Core Tablet. I have connected my Tablet to my HD Sony Bravia TV with an HDMI cable. I have wireless. I get a great picture but no sound. My son has connected his Android tablet (different make) and gets both picture and sound (same cable and TV). I went to my neighbour and connected my Nextbook and HDMI cable to his TV and I get both picture and sound. I'm scratching my hair out here! Any ideas? Thanx.

That is such an odd problem, and one I haven't heard of before despite all my TF300 experiences in support on another forum I'm afraid there may not be an answer.
