I've been using Apps2sd without any issues on both 2.1 and 2.2. I did try Link2SD as well, didn't like it.

App2SD pros:
More space.
No need to reboot for an app to show up.
Can restore a large amount of apps without running out of space.
All the apps are in the same place (don't have to worry about some not working if linked).
Once setup, nothing else needs to be done.

I will second lemmyslender's comments on this. I am still on the stable 1.0 build and it has been running flawless for a couple of weeks now. I have been tempted to look at some of the other builds, but my tablet has never been working better (plus there has been a lot of activity on my DX with Gingerbread and ROMs for that)
