Time for a Coby Generation 3 sub-forum

Does anyone know if we'll be seeing honeycomb or ICS for the MID7127 or the second generation Coby's who are on Gingerbread now? Didn't want to start a whole new thread on this subject but definitely curious about if the guru's here think the newer 7127 could handle ICS or Honeycomb at least and if either is up the pipeline. :D

I have been searching high and low but can not find the answer. Can anyone please tell me exactly what CPU and GPU is in the 7127/8127. It states Telechips on the Coby site but which version? Is it really the same proc as in the 7022?

Thanks!

Just a quick post to let you know we're not ignoring your request. We realize there are problems keeping things sorted out and it's being looked into. Organizing by CPU type is one of the things being considered. I'll keep you informed of any developments as they occur.

That's great to hear Spider! I like how the staff here are right on top of things. You guys ROCK! :D

Thank you JP, those words from a highly respected friend are deeply appreciated.

well I for one would love to see a better ROM for my two 7022 devices I have.

I always feel let down when the software is the thing that stopping the hardware fulfilling its potential.

I have only just bought these over in the U.K. so going to have them a while now.

If I can help in any way then just ask

I can't get flash to work at all. I go to some web-sites and it tell me I don't have adobe flash. What should I do? Does the 1125 model not support flash?

How is your question related to this thread? There are some about 1125... Basically you will need to install Android Market manually or try GetJar, SlideME or Amazon app store. 1125 can run Flash.

7012/7020/7120/7015/7016 are basically the same tablet. Biggest differerences are Android version (some have 2.2 instead of 2.3 on newer ones) and having a camera or not.

Will there be any kind of support for the MID1125 anytime soon or no? I believe I may have bricked mine but not sure as it's stuck @ Coby logo and I believe I may posted my help issue in the wrong part of the forum. If I did, my apologies as I wasn't sure of which generation my 1125 fell into as I'm new to tablets
