Who makes that card? It has to be MicroSDHC Class (4) or better. I won't use Class (2) just too slow.
Also make sure it's mobile card or formated to FAT32
Take your card an let the Windows 7 scan and fix errors
If you ran some sort of SD Buffer program on it? Can damage the card and it won't be read.
I would use a different card if you still have issues.

Also if you can not get it to work, i would prefer a 16Gb card. If you plan on using this tablet for a while, you will eventually run out of space, and wish you had another 8gb of memory especially if you use this for music and movies, or word documents for a business or something. I got a 16Gb card, and when i started using it, i looked at the memory avaliable on it and it was only 14 something. If u only have an 8, u will only have a little over 3/4 remaining

Oh your using those LinkSD partition stuff good luck with those. These microSDHC you have to take care of them. I use both 16GB Class 4 on both 7015/7015A. 4, 8GB are not enough today to use.. 2GB forget it!
