ASUS TF300T Not Charging

My TF300T will charge to appx. 30% max although it shows its not charging. I've tried rebooting and plugging into computer.
Should I buy a new charger or is there anything else I can try? I notice the connection is loose going into the tablet

Welcome to the site. If the connection is loose on the charger, I would get a new charger, if it is loose within the tablet, I would get that repaired.

The charging block for your tablet is very specific. I have several that look the same but would do the same thing as yours. It will charge but would taker a long long time, turned off, unless you had a charger outputting 15v Most only do 5v.

thanks for the replies...I left it charge for a full day and it went up to 67%. The connection doesn't appear to be not loose in the tablet so I'm going to buy a new charger. I only have the OEM cord as one of my kids took the
wall adapter(& can't find it)...not sure if that matters. I plug it into the computer or use my apple white cube wall adaptor with OEM cord

I think you found the problem -- one of your kids.

A new charger with the proper cable is the answer.
