Camera to Tablet Download

Is it possible to download photos from my camera to my tablet? How? Anybody done this?

That's a pretty wide open question. Unless the camera has USB out and the tablet USB in then the answer is, not directly. Even then it may not work. If the camera has a microSD card and your tablet has a microSD card slot you can copy/move them using the SD card. If the camera has a WiFi enabled microSD card that also may work.

You may need to transfer the photos to a PC then to the tablet from the PC if you can't meet those other requirements.

So, the answer to your question is YES. It's just a matter of how.

What I envisaged was using the tablet in the field to process some photos. That you probably can't do then without a PC.

If you can meet the requirements I mentioned there is a possibility that you mighty be able to do some limited editing. Android is not Windows.
