Can I tether a HTC Evo phone with a rooted Impression 9.7 tablet?

I currently use tethering with the phone and my laptop but just got tablet and I'm wondering if I can do the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your phone is stock try FoxFi. If your phone is rooted try WiFi Tether. And you can also try PDA Net Tablet.

hi, I have looked for 3 days now, and this seems close, but I am having trouble. I have foxfi, but it says I cannot have wifi, only blue tooth. I do not have blue tooth on my tablet though! New visual land tablet with ice cream sandwich. The tablet was cheap, but I like it so far. Just want to be able to check email at work and in car?

Help, anyone? bluetooth dongle? or I somehow need to get the easy tether file i use on my laptop to work for tablet??
    thanks!

You can try PDAnet tablet (free beta in play store). Put it on the phone and tablet and connect via USB/otg cable. Foxfi is not compatible with all.devices and easy tether is for PC to phone only.
