CRITICAL Need help with videos.

I have a friend in a hospice center that I told I would bring him my tablet so he could watch videos tomorrow.
However, I can not get them to play and have not been able to figure out why.
I posted the following in another post but after 124 views... 0 responses.
Can someone please help. I've tried several players and types of files.
All that happens for a few seconds is a blank screen with no sound, the progress bar sitting still, then just a blank screen.

What happened.
Videos played fine. Had to replace mobo due to damaged MicroUSB slot.
Removed back with MicroUSB in it.
After replacing mobo, videos no longer worked.
Tried reinstalling stock rom. That didn't work either.
Rom is JB 4.2.2.

Maybe the mobo is defective. I don't know.

 

You need to go back to your original post, it was only yesterday as you are double posting which is a forum guidelines violation. I'm going to close this thread.

There may not be an answer to the question as you asked it but replacing the motherboard would have cause other problems if that was the reason.
