Cruz velocity patern lock

I have a cruz velocity tablet T100 and i cant open it. I dont have a number for this tablet because it isnt a phone, and i couldnt register from email and it doe not ask me for one either. They gave it to me as a gift and was bought at walmart. Thanks for your help.

Is it set up with a pattern lock? My daughter put one on hers and promptly forgot it. Had to reset the whole thing by flashing the system. Easy enough to do if that is what it is. Updating the firmware will fix it.
How do I update the firmware on my Cruz Tablet T100 Series
