I'd like to use an external USB keyboard or mini-keyboard for text entry instead of the tablet's touch screen. Has anyone done this? Any particular keyboards you recommend? Will Windows keyboards work or must they have specific Android compatibility? Finally, what word processing software have you enjoyed using with such an arrangement?

I'm hoping an external keyboard will free up space on the screen so I can see a full page of my document. I usually use my laptop for bigger typing jobs, but the tablet is handier to travel with and use outdoors, so being able to type longer documents on that for later export to a PC would be useful to me.

    thanks...

Most USB keyboards will work through an OTG adaptor, some functions may not work on all keyboards but the basics should.
