GO Launcher EX draining battery

I really love having my icons on the bottom where I can just scroll to the one I want. However this app appears to be draining my battery...anyy suggestions? Are there any other apps like it for free hopefully.

I have this on an HTC Inspire.

I just tried the free ADW. If I get the paid version, will that allow me to have apps on the bottom and scrolling?

I have Go Launcher EX with a Honeycomb theme on my Acer Iconia Tab A100. The day I installed it, I notice a slight battery usage (2%), but ever since I show no battery useage at all. I like it, but I don't like the grid layout for the homescreens. It needs to be a bit "tighter" for me.
I haven't really noticed any performance issues.

Once (if) ICS get's pushed out OTA, I'll probably ditch the launcher and use ICS stock.

Well, I really like Go Launcher EX. I emailed the developer about the battery drain. So we shall see!! Any other thoughts are appreciated!

Apparently, the battery drain is common with my phone - HTC Inpsire. I hope it doesnt do the same on my vtab1008. (I get it tomorrow!!)
