"The best just got better" is a worn out phrase in marketing, but that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't true. In this case, that is the best description possible for the news we have. Google Maps on Android just added a super-handy feature that most users have been wishing it had for some time: you can now add multiple locations when getting directions.

This means that you can map out your route with several stops if you have multiple different errands to run along the way to your destination. While this feature has been available on the desktop version of Google Maps for some-time, it's rather baffling that Google has taken so long to include it on their Android version of the app.

Here's how it works. You now set waypoints along the way when adding a destination in Maps. You just have to enter a destination, and the select "Add stop" in the overflow menu. After that, every destination along the route will be assigned a letter of the alphabet. This will show up on the displayed route after you hit "Done," and you can add any number of waypoints that you want. You can even rearrange their order.
