Just got a ViewSonic gTablet with Stock 1.2 (from Circuit City.com for $270!)
.. now playing with it to (maybe) hand off to my father
he is 75+ and just wants Internet/email via WiFI - hope this does the trick ... or maybe I'll keep it.
*BTW - I noticed that SEARS outlet has reconditioned floor models for $230
... may get another?
I'm checking out the buzz on 1.2 ROMS before modding it.
I'm an electrical engineer working for IBM in Rochester MN.
Besides the gTab, I'm a power user with my Samsung Epic 4G with 2.2, but may upgrade that as well (hoping to get more battery power)
