Hi ..
I have an Onda Vi30W V2 tablet. It had 4.0 on it and was doing OK ...just slow.

I downloaded and loaded a Yarvik image file to attempt 4.1, experimenting on an older tab.

Well, it does boot into the Yarvik screen, and you can get to the desktop on the tablet ..but that is about it. No real screen or app response.

So can I get a bit of direction on how to get it back to 4.0 ...or earlier for that matter (I think it came with Gingerbread at first).

Thanks ..and I don't mind opening the tab if that is what it takes. I love to tinker!

:p

PS: I have not been able to get to the recovery screen, yet. I read to press the home key and power, but so far nothing from doing that. :(

No ideas yet?

What about a disassembly and clearing out the sd card inside. Anyone ever done that?

Can a tab be reloaded with a anew OS to a blank canvas? I would think this would be yes ..as that is what they actually do at the source of mfg.
