Bulgarian LG communications executive Dimitar Vulev, recently confirmed in an interview that LG is working on several new Android devices, some of which will be out by the end of the year. He confirmed the existence of the LG G Pad Android tablet, and indicated the company is working on an LG phablet alongside a smartwatch. He also confirmed that LG's flexible display technology might be used on the smartwatch, although the smartwatch won't come out until 2014.

What do you guys think of LG's push to add more Android products to their lineup?

Overkill? But the company can’t be stopped, and it has just become the first manufacturer to create a smartphone display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. To put that in perspective, most people’s TV’s are 1080p. The same goes for computer monitors, and for that matter, many laptop displays aren’t even 1080p.
Be that as it may, this is going to be an incredible display. At 5.5-inches in size, it features a pixel density of 538ppi. The display is also set to feature class-leading contrast and color reproduction. And will it ever be bright; the display will feature 430 nits of brightness. In terms of size, it’s also the world’s thinnest panel (1.21mm thick) and has the narrowest bezel (1.2mm).
