Ok....i have a galaxy note 10.1. I plug the charger in and it says its charging. But the percentage never gains. So after looking around i decided i need to replace the battery. Installed the new battery and still the same thing. New battery came with about 50% charge. I plug in the charger and it says its charging but it always stays around 50% unless i turn it on then it will slowly drop like normal when not plugged in.

Most charging problems are related to your USB cable or charger. You have to check on that also. Or if not, it could be some hardware is faulty and you might need to take it to a phone repair shop.

I also had my device checked and the technician told me that it has a hardware issue. Maybe its a case to case basis.

You may check the charger wiring as well, just to make sure. If this is not the problem then its best to consult a cellphone technician. Goodluck

You should change your USB cable. Hope this might work. Thanks!
