Problem Charging Galaxy Tab 10.1

Bought a used Galaxy 10.1 that doesn't seem to be charging. Do third-party chargers have problems? Should I only use a factory charger?

Third Party charger?
- Ensure the charger output is 2 Amperage.
Anything less will not charge the tablet.

Hi. Just to let you know my Galaxy tab II had the same issue. Been thru 4 charger cords. 2 Samsung, 1 no name, 1Rocketfish. I got the tab for christmas.
It charges fine when the cord is new. Whar do you think is up?
