RIP Nexus 7 2013

    That's it; The end of it all. My Nexus 7 2013 has stopped responding to taps on half of the screen, or it takes a minute to respond to touches at all. Even the stylus failed. It took almost forever to sync the device to Google so I could restore things after a recovery, but I think I will going to BestBuy soon to buy something else.

    I appreciated the discussions here, and if there is a repair for the problem, then maybe I'll send the thing off to be repaired. Until then, it'll be in a bagggie in a drawer someplace.

    Sorry for the negativity. I really like my Nexus 7. It outlasted my RadioShack Pocket PC IV, my Palm Tungsten E, and my Huawei tab ...

    Of course it fails when the screen is cracked.

    I found a local phone repair guy that ordered a new screen and he will install it. So I can return the Samsung tablet, even though it has a functional OTG port and an SD card slot wit a 200 GB capacity.
