So I put an sd card in my daughter's A1 today to play the music on it, and it gave a little triangle with exclamation point in the notification area...at this point, the tablet was frozen and I couldn't view the notification or do anything else, so I held the power button down to turn it off. At this point, it buzzed like it was going to display the shutdown menu and then went blank. Now, I can't get it to turn on. I don't know if it's actually on or off, but whether I hold the power button long enough to turn it on or just press it to wake it up, nothing happens. Also, when I plug it in, the charging light illuminates, but I don't know if that actually provides any useful information.

What can I do? I'm sure the sc card was fine, because I've used it in my android 3.2 phone and played the music on it. Any ideas? Thanks! I just bought this for my daughter's birthday and now it seems like it's dead :(

Have you removed the sd card and tried to power on or were you trying with it still in?

I tried both ways. I got it to boot via a forced reset. Thanks for the reply!
