Second Android device vs App Stor

I have a Samsung android phone, and the Android app store knows I have that device. Now I have an Acer android tablet. But i can't seem to let the app store know that i have this second device. so when i try to download an app, they insist i want to install it on the Samsung phone. How do I tell the app store I have a second device?

I have found the answer elsewhere in this great forum. I had to set up the Google account in the tablet's Account & Sync settings. Now at least i can proceed and try to download apps from the google "play" site
