syncing with outlook (contacts, calendars,tasks,notes)

after having the galaxy tablet for a year now, i still am not able to find an easy, free method to sync it with outlook. i use it when i travel for business and would like to transfer my notes and photos to my laptop(that I don't like to carry through airports now that I use the tablet) when I return. I am not opposed to apps for this,but would like to limit them. any suggestions? when I first got it, I used companionlink for contacts, but even that didn't work 100%.

I just wanted to jump in and ask what it was with CompanionLink that didn't work for you? If there's anything I can do to help on that, let me know!

I had similar issues directly syncing Outlook with my phone.
My solution was to set my Outlook to sync on a schedule with my Google/Gmail contacts and calendars then and have my device sync with Google/Gmail.
