Touch screen locked up

My tablet screen comes on but won't respond so can't open it up,any advice would be appreciated.Have tried resetting without success.Thanks.

You didn't mention what tablet, but if you have restarted it and still don't get any response from the screen my guess is that a cable came loose inside. Choices, either open it up or do an RMA to the manufacturer.
